• Practice Software (based on a $500 monthly licensing fee)  $6,000
• Equipment & Supplies (assumed for $100 paper, $400 ink, $250 computer upgrades, $50 printer & copier upgrades) $800
• Utilities (based on internet service at $40 per month & additional phone service at $60 per month)  $600

Not included is training, consulting fees, IT maintenance, office space, & taxes, all of which add additional costs.

All figures based on 8% billing rates.  Beyond a $400,000 volume, an additional qualified biller should be hired to ensure proper follow through.
